About the Opportunity

This internship is designed for students and fresh graduates who are interested in business development, market research, partnerships, and strategic outreach within a leading academic and innovation-driven environment.

Role Overview

As a Business Development Intern, you will support the institute’s business development and outreach initiatives by conducting market research, assisting in proposal creation, managing stakeholder communication, and coordinating with internal teams. This role offers hands-on exposure to strategy, partnerships, and ecosystem engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify potential partners, clients, and collaboration opportunities
• Assist in preparing proposals, pitch decks, and presentations for stakeholders
• Support business development campaigns, events, and networking initiatives
• Maintain and regularly update CRM/databases of leads, contacts, and partnerships
• Draft emails, reports, and professional communications for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with technical, design, and operations teams to align outreach with project goals
• Track, analyze, and summarize industry trends to support strategic planning

Skills & Requirements

• Current student or recent graduate in Business, Management, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to conduct market research and analyze insights
• Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace
• Familiarity with CRM tools is an added advantage
• Interest in startups, technology, innovation, and research ecosystems
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
